Intrusive thoughts, constant worry, and repetitive behaviors can leave you feeling stuck. You may find yourself trapped in cycles of overthinking, avoiding situations, seeking reassurance, picking at your skin, or feeling controlled by anxiety and urges that are hard to resist. If so, you’re not alone- and effective treatment is available.
I am a licensed psychologist specializing in working with adults struggling with OCD, skin picking, and hair pulling. I also treat the full spectrum of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, health anxiety, and agoraphobia. Additionally, I treat trauma disorders (including PTSD), sleep disorders, and tic disorders.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence based. My goal is to help clients understand the patterns that keep them stuck and develop practical tools to respond differently, so life can feel bigger than fear, urges, and self-criticism. I use gold standard treatments such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment of Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors to help clients gradually face fears, reduce compulsions and avoidance, and build new ways of responding to urges and anxiety. I also offer clients the option of supplementing traditional therapy with virtual reality therapy, which can be particularly helpful in treating phobias, certain OCD subtypes, and/or social anxiety.
Shame, guilt, doubt, and feelings of isolation often accompany obsessive-compulsive, hair pulling, skin picking, and anxiety disorders. It can also be difficult to reach out for help. Evidence-based therapy really does work and can help you gain a sense of freedom from your symptoms. I’d love to help you reach your treatment goals!

After graduating from the University of California, Davis, I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Xavier University (APA-accredited). I then completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Pacific Anxiety Group in the Bay Area, where I worked with individuals with a wide range of anxiety disorders. I have experience treating a wide range of symptom severity and have worked at the residential level, partial hospitalization level, and traditional outpatient level.
